1979 Watkins 27 Keel Shoe?

Hey everyone, I am new to sailboats and have a 1979 Watkins 27 that I am trying to get up and out of the slip. I had a dive crew clean underneath and they sent me pic of a metal bracket that came off the rudder. They claimed it was a keel show. However, when I search that part, I see something completely different. Can anyone use identify what this is? See attached pictures. Also, what significance does this part have. i.e., could it still be okay for short distances until I can get it dry docked and repaired.

Thanks,

H

Excuse the misspelling. Typing from phone. Meant to say keel shoe, not keel show.

That seems to be a rudder gudgeon, kind of a hinge that used to hold your rudder on and allow it to turn. No way to guess if rudder will jam or fall off today or tomorrow but it is not trustworthy at all. See the bottom of attached page for gudgeons.

Thank you. That's it. I guess it'll have to be pulled out to replace/repair.
