70's Islander 30'
I'm looking for advice on the purchase of a 70's model Islander ($10k) boat. Looking for periodic liveaboard in Texas with possible commutes to Florida via ICW. New to sailing, just curious as to others experience with this make of boat. The interior of the boats I have seen look well laid out but I'm curious as to their sailing and how are they on storage.

I want to keep the initial investment under $10k and dont mind working on less than perfect equipment. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
