A rare beast -Ericson 46...wadayaknow?

Hi all, i am in the process of buying an Ericson 46 - only 20 were made and I wanted to hear from anyone who has cruised or owned one of these beauties...

Specifically
How well do they sail to windward
Are they considered Water boats">blue water boats (when in good condition) or just coastal cruisers (and why)?
What did you like and dislike about the boat?

in advance for your assistance.
