Adding a Generator

Any ideas for the best place to add a diesel generator to a Dufour GibSea 43?

Re: Adding a Generator

Go with solar. Gems are a pain, expensive and with the cost of solar coming down..... Also, , hard to find space on a 42'
We have 600w solar a 400 W wind and 8 AGM 200 amp hr batteries.
We carry a Honda EU 2000 gen in a locker for emergency. ($900)

Re: Adding a Generator

The only place you're going to be able to really put a diesel generator is in the aft lazarette. If you have the charter version of the Gib'Sea 43, it may be tricky.
