Ah, that's novel. I presume this has worked or did you just do it?

I was thinking some sort of colored tape would do it, but since the blades aren't clear that really wouldn't help things.

I put the whistles on about 2 years ago and haven't found any dead birds around. Probably been at sea about 3 months total. Been a lot of gulls around, but they won't come near the blades. Don't know 100% if it's the whistles or just coincidence. Works for me. I figured I would try them out and see. Will be taking off the summer for a 3 month cruise, so we'll see what happens when it runs full time....
