Advice or any connectionwould be helpful Hawaii to fiji

I am looking for a crew to help me sail my 74 Columbia 45 from Kauai to Fiji.Any advice is also welcome. I Plan to set sale next year in May or June. I have replaced the engine and done some electrical upgrades and other refitting to the boat. More still to be done. I’m looking for an experienced crew member to help me achieve this crossing. Please reply only if you have made similar crossings in the South Pacific. I need someone with sea time and experience. This will be the longest crossing I’ve ever done. I have owned the boat for 2 1/2 years sailed it from Oahu to Kauai and have done some coastal shakedown sails here off Kauai. I’m looking for experienced person or couple to help me bring it to Fiji safely. I’m currently living and working on it in hanalei. I will be moving off in October and the boat will be on a mooring in nawiliwili, with no one aboard.I’m willing to have the right person live aboard while we finish up last few things for the crossing. I will take care of food and you can use my house for laundry and place to store any personal items.

Hi, Chanceum, maybe you will also want to post this in the Crew Wanted Classifieds, too. I hope you find the right person for this It will be a bit boisterous, but all in all a fun passage.

Fair winds.

Hi, again, Chanceum:

It seems like you're looking for an island style, informal setup, and on CF, the professionals who might take your job on as a lark, will also want to be paid, so you're looking for fairly rare experienced So Pac cruisers who have time and would be interested (a smallish group). Be patient, someone just right may show up. It's hard to see when.

There's also a big difference between a straight delivery and a cruise. So where, if anywhere, do you plan to stop the voyage, or is it a straight all the way deal? A plain delivery?

Thank you for your comments, I will wait patiently. Will probably stop off in Kiribati or Samoa to break it up a bit. Then extended cruising in Fiji with the crew. Exploring the lau group. My intentions is to leave the boat there for cyclone season and return the following year to do some work on the hard.

Thank you for your time,
Chance
