Thanks.

BTW, my boat didn't have a for sale sign on it, but I liked it when I saw it and asked about it as it was sitting in the weeds.

I had been studying the atom voyages website by then for a few months.

Your boat looks awesome as well and very seaworthy.

I really like the transom hung rudder, Bal/Disp ratio, and LWL.

My boat did look good in those photos but that was right after it came out of the yard in 2019 after I had painted it with a gallon of $100 Pettit EZ-Poxy.

Now it's beat up again but just as strong.

Pictures taken after a storm that brought in a super high tide.

I hiked the 5 mile round trip to my boat ....

Bristol's have really nice lines. You can really see Alberg's influence in the shape of the cabin and freeboard. I almost bought an Alberg 30 but the deal on the Voyager was too go to pass up ($7k for the boat, trailer, and all gear - everything with clean title. The Westerbeke 12c in it only has 54 hours run). I expect that refit will run about the same as you spent, but that is still an amazingly good price for a boat that I can literally sail anywhere, ocean or lake.

Let's keep in touch and share boat refit ideas.

Literally, I doubt that statement.

Sounds good.

I don't have too much left to do though after using and redoing/refitting for 10 years except replacing the rigging, and adding an AIS transponder, plus rebuilding the manual bilge pump which has never worked.

I have AIS receive now which is displayed along with OpenCPN charts on a 19" HDTV through a Raspberry Pi 4 Computer when I need them but i may replace that with my 17" laptop. (less wiring)

Plus new sails which I'll probably get when I replace the ridding if I haven't bought another boat in the next 3 years. Or at least a new jib and add more reef points in the mainsail I have now.

Keeping the colors, swapping out the cabin interior for a less polished, more rugged theme. If it doesn't serve a critical purpose, out it goes.

What a beautiful boat!

Well, I need a place to launch of course. The hull, deck, and roofing are sound. The design of strong enough for ocean passage but shallow with for gunk-holing or lake visits. Fast rivers and rapids are out of the question. But, within the scope of reason, I anticipated many enjoyable travels.
