Alubat vs Southerly

What are the sailing advantages and disadvantages of each? I know that the Alubat is a centerboarder, while the Southerly has a ballasted swing keel. They cost about the same, and both have shallow drafts and are beachable.

Which one is stiffer? Which has a better motion in a seaway? Assuming crews of equal skill, which one would be safer in a gale? Can these boats heave to? How would they handle a knockdown or a rollover?

Lastly, what is the advantage of these boats over a similarly priced multihull?
