Andrew’s 21 Info

I’ve seen the posts and sailplanes but the resolution is low and it’s hard to see the details. I’m looking for information to help me re-rig a salvaged de-masted but good condition Andrew’s 21. Anyone with one or knowledge of them would be welcomed. Spar/boom length. Sail dimensions pics of bowsprit option, recommended auxiliary motor and mounting recommendations etc.

Anything to help fill in the blanks or add to the below. I’m thinking of rigging her for R2AK. Shhhh don’t tell my wife. 😉

Rig/sail dimensions are on the second link you posted, no? How is that keel going to do with kelp?

Good call, thanks. Sorry to a little dense. Newborn at home has me sleep deprived. Or that’s my excuse anyway. Cheers.

Yeah the diagram is there but good luck reading an actual # from it. I couldn’t make out all the dimensions even when using a tablet or pc. As for kelp, good ? If I consider her for such a hair-brained voyage I’ll have to consider kelp mitigation for sure with her bulb keel.

Update. I guess I can use the tabled specifications even if not the sailplan diagram. Thanks for the replies and if anyone has a governors cup 21 aka Andrews 21 please reach out if you are willing to discuss offline

If you have a newborn at home, please read https://www.amazon.com/Passage-Junea.../dp/0679776141 before contemplating R2AK.
