Anyone use a Limin' RIB?

My AB dinghy is getting sort of old and I'm thinking of getting a new one. I saw a Limin' RIB that looked very well built and it was at a good price. I've never heard of that brand, so I wonder what others who own them think of them.

Re: Anyone use a Limin' RIB?

Had a friend who bought a cheap chinese rib recently and it was a custom build to fit their boat. He seems happy.

I can't believe the outrageous prices for the name brands. I'm a big fan of paying for quality but struggle when it comes to ribs.

I don't want the prettiest rib, i don't want the most desirable (to nick) and I don't want my rib to attract attention. I also dont want to maintain another vessel.

We recently sold our 10 year old AB rib. We are now interested in the smallest console steering wheel option available. I'm quite happy paying a few thousand but $8 - $30k is nuts.

I'm not familiar with Limin but researching Chinese Ribs was an eye opener. Custom build, tons of choice and the quality of some is no worse than the big names. Some pretty poor feedback in the PNW of some very expensive ribs.

Be interested to hear from other who recently upgrades their rib.
