Approaches to Exumas

Hey y'all just planning this years cruise and we're curious as to the easiest approaches to the Exuma chain for a monohull with a 6ft draft. The plan is to check in at West end then head for the Berry Islands on to Nassau( the admiral has most of her family there) but after that not sure which way to go. Would love to stop briefly at Lyford Cay then cruise on down from there just not sure of the approaches from the west. Ordered the Pavlidas guide as well as the Explorer charts just thought I'd float the question here as well.

Thanks as always
Will

I use from Nasau the Yellow bank by eyeball navigation to Allens Cay, from there work your way inside of the Banks to Normans and i remember a well cut used by the local mail boat to leave the bank and go for Elizabeth Harbour... remember eyeball navigation and care , 6 ft draft not a problem..

Re: Approaches to Exumas

That's a hard question to answer....the Exumas include ~365 cays, approaching each one would be unique.......
