Barberis Show 30

Hi Folks,
my wife an I purchased a Barberis Show 30, (aka Show 29) 1984, built in the Cantieri Boatyard in Italy, about a year and half ago- we had a full season last year to sail her and do some upkeep.
Anyone out there familiar with Barberis?

Hi,
I know this boat, but never sailed it. There are two versions afaik. Until 1974 it was built with a short deckhouse, after that year the deckhouse was extended.
It has a small mainsail and a big genoa, typical of the era.
It is a seaworthy and balanced boat. The ones I saw had a Buck 12 HP engine. On the Italian market, it was competing with the Comet 9.10 by Comar (a very successful boat).

The owner of the boatyard who built it, Giancarlo Barberis, has recently published a book, telling the story of the Barberis boats.
