Bayliner 28

Help ME!

What are the drawbacks on a 28 Bayliner. I want to go 50-60 miles out in the Gulf of Mexico from Texas fishing. Am I going to die?

Need more info- what year, what model, etc. Generally, you likely won't die, but you sure wont have much margin for safety from a range standpoint. Your fuel tankage is gonna be marginal at best.
Some feel that while you won't die, you're still on a Bayliner- you will only WISH you died. Keep in mind that the same line is also applied to SeaRays, SeaDoos, Pontoon boats, Hunters, Macgregors, Harley Davidsons, mopeds and fat women...

(Yes, I know i am gonna get hate mail over this post.)
