Re: Beautiful boats? (30-35 foot)

I think Turkish Gulet yachts are the best looking boats. They are usually huge. The ones at the links at the bottom barely fit the OP's length category - 11 meters.

I am therefore looking to sell her and purchase something that will tickle my fancy every time. Looking at Pacific Seacraft Orion 27, Nor'Sea 27, Baba 30, and similarly well-built fancy-looking classic bluewater cruisers.

Future posters, feel free to include a few models under 30ft here so I don't have to open another thread
Try a Pacific Seacraft 31 - very well built, no teak decks, very innovative and livable interior, great anchor handling (2 on the bow), and sails better than a Baba 30

This is our boat. 1980 Swallow Craft Swift 33. Only 3 were imported into the USA. Last year she got a brand new D2-50 Volvo Penta. Cruises at just about hull speed (6.9 to 7 KTS) on 1 Gal per hour.

Take a look at the Hans Christian 33. A similar boat to the Baba. Great boats to take to the Bahamas.

Also look at the Lord Nelson 35 and 41. Very solid boats.

Well, I have a Herreshoff Nereia, and I smile every damn time...
The message is , get the boat you love.
Yes, and here is a photo of my Nereia anchored at Broome, Western Australia. AT 36’11, Nereia is a bit longer than the thread asks for. But, clearly an ocean traveller. Yes, have the boat you love and I’ve had Tiga for 37 years this June.

Re: Beautiful boats? (30-35 foot)

Thanks. Interior space is huge and tankage is also huge. It carries 75 Gallons of diesel in the keel and 2 90 gallon water tanks under the floorboards.
