Beneteau 36.2 (possibly 362??)

Hi, new member here.

I've recently emigrated to Vancouver from Melbourne and am looking for preferably a cruiser/racer, probably used, around 36-44 ft, and of course moorage is one of the issues around the southern mainland of BC. I'm inclined (so to speak!) to Jeanneau/Beneteau.

One option is buy a boat with a moorage, and I'm looking at a 2002 Beneteau 36ft, which the owner says was in charter in the Caribbean for 3 years, now in Vancouver, and is an owners version 36.2, but I cannot find any reference to such a model. The closest I can find is a 362, but only limited info. While his details mean it could be the 362, he says its draught is 5'8" but the 362 appears to have a draught of 5'0.

Can anyone enlighten me?? I'm also interested in performance data, polars, anything really.

Thanks,
Dave
