Beneteau differences?

I read a post here regarding the suitability of a 40ft Beneteau for bluewater cruising. The general consensus seemed to be that the Beneteau 40 was a decent choice. Do people here have similar opinions of Beneteaus in the 35ft range? There are a number of Beneteau models around 35ft and I am wondering if there were any that might have been built primarily for the charter market. From what I've read boats built for charter seem to be considered to be of inferior build quality and therefore probably shouldn't be too far out of sight of land.

Thx

Well I bought a 5yr old Bene 331 out of charter, sailed her to Portugal from the BVI's then to the UK via Madeir and the Azores then N Spain and France during the 2 and a bit years I had her..
No breakages, no repairs, in fact the only thing she cost me during that time was oil, new filters and diesel.
Dont believe all you read, even the US built Bene's need to conform to CE standards.

With any 35 foot boat tankage and storage are issues for bluewater cruising.

Sometimes that is an issue you just have to deal with and make work. Pretty sure at least a couple of people over the years have made ocean crossings on boats around 35ft.
