BENETEAU Oceanis 411 Celebration 2003

Hello community!

I'm about ready to pull the trigger and get this boat but wanted to hear from the members of this forum about the pros and cons. I hope there are some registered members that are also owners of the same boat. The boat so far has been with her first owner and looks very well. Thanks in advance.

Good luck on the purchase and - if all goes well - welcome to the Beneteau owners’ club!

Re: BENETEAU Oceanis 411 Celebration 2003

I'm sure you will love it. I never sailed one, but I seriously considered purchasing one. One thing I noticed about the Bene 411 is that there are a lot of them for sale, so they must have produced a lot of boats, many of them certainly were for charter fleets. Because of the supply, the prices seem somewhat low, and you get a lot of bang for your buck (good when you are purchasing, bad when you are selling though). Also, because it was such a popular model, it's unlikely to have any major glaring flaws.

I really like the layout, with the pullman berth instead of a pointy berth in the bow. Also like the traditional look inside, this was basically the last generation before Beneteau switched to Ikea styling. Don't care for the look of the helmstation, but that's trivial.

Some of them have teak decks - that would give me pause, but it might be your preference.
