Benneteau Oceanis 44CC

New to the forum, writing from Barcelona on the Mediterranean shore.

I’m interested in purchasing an Oceanis 44CC by Benneteau and would greatly appreciatte any feedback on this model.

All feedback and opinions appreciated but specially from current / previous owner of this particular boat or people who has sailed it extensively.

Arcane1. I am also looking at a 44cc. This one is clipper rigged. On sailboatdata.com it shows the 44cc to be underpowered, but it is listed as a sloop. Do you have the standard sloop rig or cutter? Have you found it to be sluggish?

Also, What is the holding tank configuration?

Sloop. It’s a fast boat in 12-15 knt wind. It’ takes 8 to get it moving. It’s a Farr design so it was designed for speed. She’s fast when others start to reef. You just hold steady. Stick the wind baby.
