That is a very nice Great Lakes freshwater boat. Well kept. The engine appears to be original so it may have high hours.

Centre cockpit with hard dodger with probably a Strataglass enclosure, good steering station. Non self-tailing winches. Aft cabin, 2 heads. No windlass and no mention of anchors. Outside wood looks great. Interior is really good.

Definitely better value for money than a lot of other boats on here. I think she has/had very meticulous owner.

It is late in the year to sell a boat in the North. Make a deal!

They are very good boats - one of John Kretschmer's favorite designs, he said it is a better boat than a Hylas 44. As for the old Perkins, they run forever. Those boats usually go for quite a bit more looking much more sorry than that one. I think you are right, he is fighting winter storage up in Ohio.

There is no way a Gulfstar being a better boat than a Hylas 44. Hylas 44 is a top quality yacht. No expense spared, fine tuned boat. At best a Gulfstar is a Chevrolet of the bay.
