If everything checks out on that, that is a good one IMO.

If I were planning a long stay trip to the bay area I would snap this one up . Just bring my lfp and my mini pressure washer from my defender . Spend a year sailing her in Southern California. Sell for what I paid and come home.

Don ya ought to pick her up and do a quick flip .

This is one of the better deals I have seen. A well equipt boat with the right gear...self tailers, Yanmar with 330 hours, dodger and Monitor vain. A guy (or Gal) could but it now, spend a few months doing a fluff and buff and be in Mexico for Christmas. all on $5k!

Just got email from owner and teak deck removed and all screw holes have been remediated with west epoxy . So the big problem is not a problem.

Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds

With 30000$ there some good offers in the market today. Back in 2006 when I bough my boat you would by a day sailing boat a real cruiser was way more expensive. You might say that now everything is more expensive such as marinas mooring or just drop the anchor, but the boats are cheaper than ever.
In that way, after some investigation, I decided to sell my beloved boat for that price.
I’m just selling it because by now me and my wife should be home, but because of the COVID we spend to much time waiting. We are in Timor Leste now and preparing to go to Indonesia in a few day. So if you want to sail around Indonesia or around the world in a low budget project in a real cruiser this migh be the boat for you.

FAMOUS BOAT, FULLY EQUIPPED AND READY TO GO TODAY

Tartan 30 (1976) in Lagos, Portugal, $29,500

Already in the water in Lagos, sails rigged, 40 gal of diesel on board

This boat just completed a Trans-Atlantic from June 27, 2022 - July 25, 2022
Averaged 5.25 knots across Atlantic 3,400 nautical miles in 27 days – she’s fast for a boat of this size.

https://www.bostonglobe.com/2022/07/...ic-by-himself/

An article in Cruising World Magazine on this boat will be coming out in the October 2022 issue.

Prior owner was Sandy Van Zandt, famous sailmaker and circumnavigator who personally outfitted the boat for 8 years before selling her to us. This vessel was entered into the 2015 Bermuda 1-2 and met all stringent safety and redundancy requirements for the off-shore race.

Sea-kindly sailing motion.

Cutter rig for multiple sail configuration options.

Sleeps 4 and is also uniquely outfitted for single-handed blue ocean sailing.

Here are 57 photos of the boat:

Hi jamescurrier, I see you already posted in the Boat Classifieds. Usually a link from there to here is good enough.
Nice boat though. Good luck!

It does look like someone put a (wood?) Columbia house style on a fiberglass hull. It is not a Columbia 29 though, the angle of the transom is not the same. The rudder post is also wrong too but that could have been a custom job if they built the deck.

1981 Endeavour 32 $35K CAD (~$27K USD) in Bellevile ON (northern Lake Ontario).

This is a nice example of a decent-looking good old boat, which appears to be in sailaway condition.
