Buying first sailboat: 1986 Laguna 16

Found this boat locally. Not finding much information online other then specs and brief company history resulting in going out of business. Would be interested to hear from past or present owners or anyone with knowledge of the boats in terms of launching, rigging and how they sail. Any other information would also be appropriated.

Boat has only been sailed in fresh water lakes.
Has not been in water in ten seasons.
Condition appears to be good with no upgrades to original equipment or rigging. Sails are original with no visual defects or tears.
Seller doesn't know price but has floated $3000.
Has original trailer and evinrude 4 hp same year. Not started in ten years.

Or this boat has no information among all the eyeballs on this forum?
Either way it doesn't seem like the boat for me. For now.
