With luck, you may find a serial number specific to the maker. It would be starboard aft corner impressed into the skin of the hull.

You may be able to run the rego number through the DMV (or whomever handles boat rego in that state) and get the manufacturer's name.

It's a Bayfield for sure. 25 probably, or there are some 23s around.

Value is dependent on condition of expensive parts. Engine, rigging, sails, canvas and upholstery.

Bayfield 23, 23/25, or 25.
All the same hull, deck and interior changes distinguish them. If you have headroom it’s probably a 25.
