Yeah, I can believe it. We have supercell thunderstorms that form in minutes. I've watched multiple funnel clouds form right over my house many times. It's calm one minute and tearing the shingles off the next with no warning. A couple of years ago my daughter and I were painting when I noticed dust blowing. I told her to run to the house 20 feet away. She made it, I didn't. It was all I could do to get the door open. If you're on a lake, hold on cause it's gonna get rough.
