Carbineer 46 in survey?

Are there any Carbineer 46 owners (ex Myer Laskey yard in Melbourne) with a vessel in survey?

Re: Carbineer 46 in survey?

Acording to this article
http://www.afloat.com.au/afloat-maga...6#.V1gyakcmKrU

some Lasky boats were built to survey. But there is some misleading information in the same article about going back to Jack Laurent Giles for a redesign. In Fact they only ever bought 1 plan from Giles yet built 15 boats. I have spoken with the current holder of Laurent Giles designs he confirmed only 1 plan was ever purchased. This is probably why they were called Carberneer yachts not Carbineer mine still has the name on the switch panel.
My boat was built in 1990 & is probably the last ever built. She has a 185 hp Yanmar 4LH-DTE engine (re-engined in 20003) , hydraulic in mast furling in both masts & roller reefing headsail. Mine is a 9 berth layout. I have some of the original sails including the storm jib ,mizzen staysail & spinnaker all in perfect condition in bags with Lasky written on the side. I doubt the spinnaker has ever been out of the bag. There are 3 Carbineers in Hobart, 1 in Pittwater that I know of , at least 1 other on the Gold Coast/Brisbane area. I still have my Moody Club membership & they don't mind that my Carbineer was built in Australia .Click image for larger version
