Centre cockpit ketch around 40ft

I think that with the Amel Maruma and the Colvic Victor that I may have found my short list for what I will buy but would appreciate some feedback from owners, admirers etc or ideas of other similar centre cockpit ketches which should be considered.

TIA

How about a Whitby 42. Ted Brewer design, pretty well built (in Canada), good looking boat. There are 20 listed for sale on Yachtworld.

Amel/Colvic/Whitby

No question Mr Marinesurveyor the Whitby 42 goes on my list. Good job I'm not in too much of a hurry, maybe one or two will migrate to Europe due to osmotic pressure if I wait long enough, unless anyone knows a cheap way of mailing one?
The devil has all the best tunes and the yanks have all the best boats at all the best prices.
Thanks for your input

Westsail 42?

Try this on for size: WESTSAIL - CRUISING BOATS FOR SALE Westsail 42, there is a great price and deal on one in Maine , 1976 Westsail for sale in HARPSWELL, ME - BoatTrader.com if it is still available. The boat is a beauty.

Good luck.
Looking and dreaming is almost as much fun as owning.

You might want to look at the Hardin 44. Very nice lines; great cruiser.

hardin 44

Hi, Enjoy your cruise and thanks for the information which has pushed the Hardin up to the top of our probabilities list, bypassing the possibilities list. The only problem is that they all seem to congregate on the wrong side of the Atlantic for me which is a damn shame so I'll just wait for a while to see if any get driven this way by a westerly wind. Meanwhile, I've got the big net bag for hanging the cans of beer over the side, just need to get another boat now.
