Solo Sailor. Quantum suggests a BottupUp furler for this sail

Looking forward to all the thoughts/comments/advice.
With your boat and its overlapping genoa the AWA60 is not going to be needed. You will get excellent close reaching with your genoa and it will go to windward which the AWA60 will not.

A downwind asymmetrical with a sock will probably give more benefit.

Re: Code Zero?

I have a code zero, which I have used lightly. But keen to use it more. I added a uv strip which has compromised the leach (I knew it would) but means I can leave it up when cruising. I have a 130% jib on furler. It all works well, except we can get over powered easily… still a work in progress but a good combo I think

Re: Code Zero?

My vote is for the jib + an asym.
Jib is going to be great from close hauled out to about 115

My Asysm is happy TWA 115 to 175 with a sweet spot at 150.
Really only bring it out in lighter wind (15 or less).

I think rolling up the jib in heavy wind isnt bad at all. Point nose into wind...furl, lock in and come off.
