Columbia sailboats

It has finally happened, I am now in the hunt for a boat. Not just any boat but I really like the Columbia sailboats. Especially mid 70's on down for hull strength. I would really like to spend around 10,000 to $25,000 for a clean boat. I know its possable, so the question is. Those who have or had a 40-45 foot Columbia what do you think of them. I crew a racer/ cruiser 36' beanetue and it is a blast, my boat will be for crusing not racing. There will be 2 adults and 4 kids with us from time to time so space and amenities is a must.
By the way since I started posting on here I had just started getting into sailing, and now that I crew a boat. " sailing is the greatest thing to happen to me, except my kids. I welcome all replies...
