Dehler 37 & 372 ... Do They Have The Same Hull ?

Hi ,

I just joined this site and must say I'm having a great time going through some of the posts , and I wondered if anyone could help me out ..

I was looking at a Dehler 37 1984 , and then a Dehler 372 1984 ..

Both seem to be the same down below , but the 372 has a different cockpit , more standing area on either side of the wheel and as a result , more headroom in the aft cabin ..

I wondered if the hull is the same , as the 372 stern seems a little wider , or am I just imagining this ?

Is the 372 simply a newer version of the 37 ?

Also , of course does anyone out there have either one , and what's she like for cruising ? Nothing major , mainly coastal crusing with the kids .
