Does this prop shaft strut need to be replaced?

I'll soon be replacing the prop shaft on my C&C 27 project due to it being fried by stray current corrosion. The prop shaft strut is also looking a bit rough:

Should I replace this, re-bed it and cover it with epoxy barrier, or do something else? I'd greatly appreciate some advice on this, as I'm still pretty clueless when it comes to boat repair. Thanks!

Clean it up with a soft wire brush and repost some pics. Chances are it’s fine but from the picture it does appear there is a pinkish hue in spots but too hard to say from a picture.

You’re missing a piece in the upper right corner there should be 4 bolt holes and it looks like the strut to hull is missing one.

Replace it please before it breaks completely

Thanks, and yeah that was my main concern. Looks like I'll be making a call to the machine shop in the near future.

Replace or fix. A good prop shop may be able to fix it.
