El Toro Question

Hey, its a monohull, albeit a small one.

For those of you that ever played around with El Toros.. I just got a couple for the kiddies. Both of these have a hole in the deck in front of the mast. What in the world is this hole for? I can't find a mention of it in any rigging diagram.

Thanks!

Aloha Jim,
I have a full set of El Toro plans and there is no mention or picture of a hole forward of the mast. Is it a big hole or just the right size for a small line to go through? I don't need the plans any longer. Interested?

One is just for a little line. Brass grommit and all. The other has a pully mounted in it.

As for the plans, would be fun to try to build one... Can you scan 'em or are they large?

I would be interested in the plans. I have an El Toro Sail and no boat. The guy I got the sail from left it to rot in his yard. I had been thinking of building one for the grand kids. dgyoung_2000@yahoo.com
