Endeavour 40 Owners wanted!

Hello All,

We recently bought an ‘83 Endeavour 40 and have some questions.....for anyone who might know.
Firstly, we have two separate water tanks, 170 gal total, but it appears only the slightly larger approx. 98 gal one is connected to the pressurized water system, which includes main sink faucet. The smaller tank appears only to serve a manual foot pump and secondary small faucet at main sink.
My question.....WHY!!
Ought to at least have a connecting valve?
Wondering what others may have done, I’m thinking I’ll atleast add a secondary pump to use only at sink, with a bypass valve, if I can’t easily get to lines at tank and install one there.

Thoughts??
