Thumbs down Ewincher

Went to St Pete boat show (it really is 98% power boats, never again)
Anyway I tried the ewincher, hated it it can hurt your wrist, it takes as much power to hold it then just using a regular handle.
My wife tried it, she couldn't hold it.

Not worth it, moreover $2,000.

Going to look at some regular drill options

Re: Ewincher

Hard to imagine that a cobbled together set up with an electric drill could be easier to use than one specifically designed for the job. Cheaper of course.
Perhaps you could have posed your post as a question as to what people are using successfully.
Perhaps they will chime in anyway?
There are other similar options out there, but it is a pretty small market....
Here's one in Australia...http://https://www.powerwincher.com.au/

Re: Ewincher

It is possible to use the right angle drill for multiple uses: holes where you want them when you're modifying your boat.

I agree the Ewincher is not the best tool for the job: there are competitors.
