Freedom 45 cc (Gary Mull Design)

I am hoping someone out there can enlighten me about this boat.
I understand the Freedom 40's are slow however a different designer.
I suspect the build quality is good.
Specifically would love to hear from anyone who has sailed one of these offshore.
I appreciate that this is no race boat however handling characteristics are important to me.
Are there any downsides to this free standing carbon rig, how does it sail in light air and heavy, basically any knowledge would be appreciated.
