Frers Dawn 48'

Here is the question... I am looking at buying a Frers Dawn 48'. Any comments on what is good/bad about the design or construction?

It may be here but somewhere I found a story about a failure on the chainplate and an inspection showing a butt weld that was failing on the reciprocal chainplate.
Check it out - both the story and the chain plates!
Other than that very temping. I wonder if you are looking at the michigan boat.
