Re: Frog in the boat.

Actually, it has been known to rain frogs. I do not know if it has in Florida. If you wait long enough, very much depending on the food and water, it will croak.

Re: Frog in the boat.

must be happy there or he would have disembarked by now / green tree frogs live for 70 years / not sure how they go with quarantine and in an emergency they are food

we are in queensland aus / normal to find geckos, sometimes tree frogs, tree snakes / of a night water rats scurry across the boat / insect screens keep all of the above out / gecko's seem to turn up after being out at sea for a while

This just doesn't sound right, but it would be good news for the green tree frogs!

Re: Frog in the boat.

A canvas shirt and an eye patch may be in order. He needs a name.

70 years? That's an old frog indeed! Puddle Pirate!

Re: Frog in the boat.

Only lifespan for a tree frog that I could find was for the Australian tree frog, and it was 16 yrs, which was way more than I would have thought

The eye patch? The shirt? Naming a frog?

I've no idea how long a frog lives. I wasn't the one who suggested 70 years. Since I've got no clue, I am in no position to argue about it. Would a top hat and a coat with tails be more appropriate?

Just be thankful, I have to go around now with the Admiral cracking to strangers that I (as in, I personally made the selection and purchase against her premonitions) bought this new (to us) boat just to find out we "had crabs"....
