Gelcoat color match

I have a 1978 San Juan 28' The boat has a blue hull, not many were produced in that color and I have a bit of gelcoat work to do after an unfortunate run-in with a deadhead out in the Salish Sea. The scratches aren't deep but they did penetrate the colored layer. Anyone have any advice on how to get a decent color match? Clark Boats, the designer and bulider is, of course, no longer in business.

Foolish me. Never dawned on me until after I posted that there would be existing threads on the issue. I did the research found the threads and have a plan.
