Hampton Roads moorings

After being a member here for a while and reading hundreds of other peoples posts, its time for our very first thread. Maybe this subject has been covered already, but its new for us so ....
Coming from Lake Ontario, we will be moving to Norfolk Va. soon. While on the lake we had a trailer queen Mcgregor 23, now its time to take the next step. We have been planning this for over 3 years, so sometime in the spring, we will be looking for a mono of around 32-35 feet. Our work so far has been about setting up a home and business in the Norfolk area. Now we want to move from long distance window shopping a boat to actual hands-on. Consequently, we will be looking for someplace to park our new gem that is as economical as possible while we continue with business. Hampton roads moorings for the summer and on the hard for the winter...suggestions on this?

I haven't seen any boats on moorings here, but I'm in the Va Beach/Norfolk area. The slip fees are around $8.75 to $10.00/ft

On the hard about the same .......

Prices get cheaper as you move away from the cities.

Deltaville, VA has good prices but it's maybe an hour and a half from here

The same in Cape Charles, VA.
