Harken Roller Furling

I have an opportunity to buy 2 older Harken roller furlings from a trusted source. I know they would need to cut down to fit my boat. Coming off a 42' Pacific Seacraft going on to my 38' Shannon. Anyone have any experience doing this? any info would be appreciated.

Call the tech’s at Harken with the specific model numbers to ensure spare parts are readily available. If so, they can provide all the help you need, including installation manuals. If not don’t bother.

You’ll have to shorten the foils, no big deal. May have to make changes to your headstay as well. A competent rigger can do it no problem. Ensure there is clearance for the new drum before you buy.
