headliners sagging

My Swan 44mkii has headliners that are held up with velcro. With the hot weather they have detached in several places and the headliners are therefore sagging. Two years ago I paid the marina to fix them (over $700), but this time I tried myself with 3M DuoLock velcro, without much success (it does not hold). Does anyone have a solution for this recurring problem ? I was thinking of screwing the panels, but this may not be esthetically the best option. Thanks

Re: headliners sagging

Mine are thin plywood panels with a vinyl covering. Screws are nearly hidden with little button colour matched covers which fit into a small hole perhaps 2mm next to the screw hole. Gives an acceptable approach and means I can take them down again quickly if needed.

This sort of thing, but mine are slightly smaller perhaps 3/8th across:
