Help Tracking Down Owner of Tartan 44 FS in Emeryville, CA

If anyone knows who owns this boat in Emeryville, which is listed with Mark Milner of Michael Wiest Yacht Sales, please have them contact me. There are some things they need to know about their broker that they should know about. I will be making a complaint with the California Yacht Broker's Association.

Thanks.

If the boat is USCG documented and you have the boat's name, you can find it here.

I went to Michael West Yacht Sales, clicked on boats for sale, and searched for Tartan (about 1/2 way down page). Only one showed, Tartan 4475, name is: MATOWI. There is only one entry in the USCG database for this name, owner in Piedmont. Looks like this is the boat. What sort of issue do you have with this boat/broker?

Something that could get him suspended...at the very least. I handled with the owner directly but I'm thinking of making an official complaint with the California Yacht Brokers Association.

Got hold of the owner of the Jeanneau in St. Martin and they never received any notice of an offer from their broker. Wow.

Have you brought up your problem with the broker first? I can imagine many scenarios where a message concerning an offer might not get to the owner of a boat in a timely manner. Not defending or criticizing anyone here, just noting that stuff happens.

looks like you are a bit snookered for the trip across the pacific if you don't get a boat soon, and leave in the next 3 weeks, may be time to cut your losses and crew on a boat instead if you want to make the film this year?
