Hunter 466 as First Boat

Looking at Hunter 466.

It is my first boat, but ideally I'm looking for a boat that will be my last. Needing a comfortable boat for the Mrs and I for retirement. Easy sailing from spot to spot. Looking for a) owners, or sailors with first hand experience with this boat, and b) general response for a vessel of this size and its suitability to usage described.

Tx in advance.

I don't have a whole lot of experience with Hunters, but from all reports from owners I have heard are very happy with them, the model you are looking at you could easily live aboard and have guests now and then, I know they sail well, they sail at respectable speeds, they are no racer but they seem like a beautiful cruiser.

I've heard no complaints and I've seen them in the mid Pacific. Comfy chairs
