This ferocement has been all over the world...she was home built near Halifax and sailed to Asia and Africa...her owner recently died and now the boat is for sale...her interior is impecable and wonderfull woodwork and her outside needs a little TLC...I cant find any info on this type of boat...any information would be much appreciated.

Re: ID this double ender...pleas!!

Kinda hard to see it under the cover but looks like it is about 30-33 ft on deck with a large rudder and tiller. Would be helpful to see the house. Could be a pocket Ingrid by William Atkin. Several were built out of ferro in the 70's... any other info? Capt Phil

It may be an Atkins design. Check out The World Of Ferro-cement Boats

Not sure on the design, but it looks like it may have a diesel weep from the looks of the stain on the port side.

Steeve, I wonder if there is a formula to be applied here. Something like, number of boats times work each requires divided by purchasers available time to the power of the possible?

Are you really buying yet another fixer-upper?

Mark as of now I am preparing my HR28 for my first voyage...first stop Tadousac in hope to see a few belugas...then is all is well Madelain islands...then if all is A OK and my girl is up for it (WE CROSS TO AZURES)

As for this sailboat...well yes I may very well optain her...first I am a pasionated man...and new knowledge is my thing...all this is new to me and I find every moment an exiting venture...I know this can or cant be my last boat??...but it sure wont be the last one I optain...as I see it all these older beautys deserve a little TLC...this I have!!
If I dont enjoy them I will enjoy restauring them for others...also thers nothing wrong with making a little profit in the process.

I am a scrudge by nature and never wast $$ on anything...when I restore its with free materials that I pick up here and there

all this to say that I enjoy and will keep looking for boats all over this world.

by the way! any idea what this is???

Is there a hull number by the stern ? It should give you a clue as to the MFG.
