Importing a boat from U.S. to Canada

It may have changed in the intervening 6 years but CBSA most definitely DID NOT collect PST when we imported Gray Hawk. I specifically asked the agent about this and his response was that they would collect HST and they obviously collected GST but that the province was responsible for collecting PST. It took a while but about a year later we finally heard from SK Revenue.
