Insights & Thoughts on Alberg 29, Please

I would love to hear about this somewhat lesser known, and later designed, model. There is a lot published on the A30, and I'm fairly familiar with it. The 29, though was a later model, and was built in Canada by Nye.

I use to own an Alberg 29. I wish I still did. She sailed like a dream. Her little 2Gm Yanmar could run all year on 20 gallons of fuel. Her systems were simple and her interior was well thought out. I loved the fact that the seat backs could be lifted up increasing the size of the sleeping area. Great little propane locker in the center of the rear seat was cool. The 29 could and would sail circles around similar boats. She would move in the slightest of breez and to top it all of she was beautiful .

Thank you for great comments from a former owner. It is interesting that this model boat is so obscure. I note that my post only drew one reply. A much appreciated one, however.
