Irwin 68ft VS Morgan Out Isand

How they compare build and the way they sail. Some of the 68ft Irwins
have a interesting opening stern door and some have a hydraulic dinghy
lift which nice to get in and out of the boat down to the water like
a elevator. Could use for swim platform aswell.

Re: Irwin 68ft VS Morgan Outislander

Has anyone done some sailing on both of these boats. Old Ted use to work for Morgan and then went off on his own and came up with some
nice designs.

Re: Irwin 68ft VS Morgan Outislander

I can't speak to Ted's bigger boats (which he's better known for) but I've been very happy with my I28. She's mainstream 1970's, but tough in the right places.

At one time Irwin had produced more sailing vessels over 50' than any other manufacturer, but I'm not sure if this is still true today.
