Is there any reasonably priced marina in Miami ?

I have new sailboat laying in Fort Lauderdale. I wanted to go down to Miami for a few days mid week. I have never been to Miami by boat. I have air draft of 64.5 feet and draw 6 feet. Are there any places that rent mooring balls for 53 foot boat? Are there any anchorages or Marinas that someone has post Irma knowledge of?
Dinner key Marina is not taking transients. Standard dockage seems insane at other places. I could book room at 4 Seasons.

"Reasonable" is, of course, a very subjective term. I'm sure the marina operators in Miami think that their rates are perfectly reasonable. And given the law of supply and demand, perhaps for that area they are.

There are lots of places that you can anchor around Miami, though your drafts (both above and below the water) will limit you some. Any good guide will show you places to anchor; personally I kind of like the Skipper Bob guides...

Check out the list of Miami Dade county municipal Marinas. There is one on Key Biscayne with a mooring field that I have used. Check Active Captain for reviews and prices.

There is one bridge that will stop you, so not sure how far you want to go, what part of Miami? But Dinner Key is well south of that bridge. You need to go outside and into Biscayne to get there.. Your air draft seems short for a 53 footer?

Once in Biscayne there are anchorages, the Stadium, No Name Harbor, etc. Be careful with 6 ft draft. Do you have towing insurance? Highly recommended, and if you get it... get the high coverage, the low end priced ones are useless.

Try the municipal marina at Crandon Park on the east side of the Bay.

Yeah that’s the one on Key Biscayne. Pretty sure they don’t have moorings for anything over 45’ but they might and certainly have big enough slips.

And yeah the first fixed bridge when you get to Miami is @ 54-55’. If you can’t get under that you have to go out Port Everglades down to Gubmint Cut.
