Island Packet - Recent Models?

I've always liked Island Packets, especially in the shallow waters of the Chesapeake Bay. Does anyone have experience with the latest offerings since the ownership change? The 439 looks great, but all seems very quiet with only factory orders and boats over 10 years old on YachtWorld. Curious if this is supply-driven or people just hanging on to their boats. Cheers.

They are a new model, have portslights in the hull, an IP first, and not many have actually been delivered.


You might have a long wait for a used one.


A lot of critique on the iphomeport about the hull portlights.


Regular posters on there are suggesting problems with these portlights already.


As many European boats have them and suffer few problems I suspect their worries will be unfounded in use.
