Issues with the Coronado 35

Dear Forum:

I may have found a Coronado 35.

However, it does need work. I don't mind as I am pretty handy.

Are there any inherent structural issues for which I should verify before buying, (I.E. quirks particular to the Coronado 35)?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Re: Issues with the Coronado 35

My marina neighbor sold his 35 three years ago. He got $15,000 for it. (he said)??. He mentioned problems with chain plate mounting from water leaks and constant tinkering with the Palmer gas engine. If you need parts for a Palmer, visit the International Tractor dealer. Some of those engines were used in the Cuib Cadet tractor.

Check the steering gear and wires under the giant aft cabin berth... its an alloy and creates its own talc...

Great liveaboard with lots of room below decks! I don't know how it would handle sailing with such a high freeboard.
kind regards,
