Jensen Cal 25 - mast attachment method?

I am eyeballing a Cal 25 on our lake, BUT, to use it we have to navigate a few bridges, one being minimum 17 feet of clearance.

The Cal 25 claims about 30ft above deck, so maybe 35 ft or so from waterline.

I can't see using a tipping rig to do that as my math has the angle at 34 degrees to get 30ft down to 17ft.

Does anyone know how the mast is attached to the deck?
I can't find this information on the web.
It appears there is a post in the cabin to support the mast that is not the same size as the mast, so there must be a deck-plate or something the mast sits on.

I may try to go look at the boat, but pics I found there seems to be a shroud over the connection and the owner might not want me fiddling with that.

If it can be stepped, that would be great.

If not, but there is a decent plate arrangement, perhaps I can add a tabernacle or deck plate with a rotating pin arrangement.

If I can overcome all that I still need to find a way to moor it to the dock.
