Little Harbor 44

I just bought Little Harbor 44 hull #2 and would love to have any information anyone has to share about the boat. I’ve found old advertisements and previously sold boats but any additional information would be greatly appreciated!

I have tracked down hulls 1, 2, 4, 6, and 10, plus six boats of unknown hull number. If you can fill in the blanks please do!

Hull 1 - 1983 - Atalanta (née Robin Too) - Center Cockpit
Hull 2 - 1983 - Sea Swallow (née Interlude, Insouciant) - Aft Cockpit
Hull 4 - 1983 - Redstart (née Manticore) - Aft Cockpit
Hull 6 - 1984 - Amelia - Aft Cockpit
Hull 10 - 1984 - Surprise - Aft Cockpit

Unknown hull numbers:
1983 - Blitzen - Aft Cockpit
1984 - Esprit - Center Cockpit
1985 - Isurus - Aft Cockpit
1986 - Whitehorse - Center Cockpit

Unknown hull number and year:
Kittiwake
Halcyon

Per Ted Hood the younger, there were 15 Little Harbor 44s built, of which 3 were center cockpit and 12 were aft cockpit. Updated list below.

This is a very random addition, but I’m a sailor out of chicago and Michigan and collect random nautical memorabilia. I believe I have a half hull model of your Little Harbor from when it was “Interlude”. I was curious about it since it has the owner name, etc, and found this post. It was in an antique store in rural Michigan along the lake.

Oh wow!! That’s definitely her. I don’t imagine you’d be willing to part with that?

Just coming across this thread. I crewed on Kittiwake in the 1998 Newport-Bermuda race under sail # 40644. She was built in 1986 IIRC. You may get additional information from her Documentation file at the USCG. Hinckley doesn't have the archives from Little Harbor?

I got a bunch of stuff from Ted Fontaine (drawings, etc) but he didn’t have production data. Don’t know who to contact at Hinckley. My contact there has been away from the company for too long and doesn’t know anyone still there.
